 Rubi Rose Benton is an Kentucky native born on October 2, 1997. She was raised by Nardos Gebrelul, her maternal grandmother (an Eritrean immigrant dentist, raised in Ethiopia), and John Benton her father (a lawyer of Japanese and African American descent). Rose began her career as a musician in September 2018, when she remixed "On Top" the hit song from Playboi Cari. With her hit single "Big Mouth" her popularity grew in 2019. Rose was in the CardiB music clip for "WAP" by American rapper Cardi B. The video was released on 7 August, 2020. A&R Chris Turner signed Rose to LA Reid's record company Hitco Entertainment in 2019. Rubi is also well-known for her high-profile romances. Rubi has dated Travis Scott, Ian Connor and Soulja Boy. She is currently not dating.
