 Cole visited her mom Deborah Quinn and her stepfather Shawn Christian, her parents of half-brother Kameron Christian. Then she was asked to audition for Summerland on the WB. Cole was chosen to be the character Erika Spalding, and she moved to Los Angeles to film it. Cole also appeared in the Supernatural episode "Provenance" in which she was Sarah Blake, an artist dealer. The character was reprised in the "Clip Show 8" episode. She appeared as a guest on an episode of CBS' NUMB3RS, and she was also on the show as Bianca in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She played Desiree in the horror remake, April Fool's Day. Cole was part of the movie 12 Rounds, which was made by WWE Films. It starred John Cena. Cole later joined the main series as a regular character, acting in the same role in the early part of 2009. The actress starred with Tiffany Shepis on The Violent Kind. She played the role of "Hot Neighbor" in the short-lived TV show Secret Girlfriend in 2009.In April 2010, she guest starred on the NCIS episode "Guilty Pleasure" as DC who escorted Charlotte Cook. From September 2010 through May 2011, she was a guest star in The Event as Vicky Roberts an assassin in an undercover group.In October 2011 she was in the music video for The Walk by Mayer Hawthorne. She was also cast as a character in CSI: Miami as Samantha Owens (a lab technician) in November 2011. In 2012, she played an appearance on the series on A&E The Glades as Jennifer Starke
