Kristen Anne Bell has been an American actor, singer and musician for over 20 years. When she was a kid, she bagged spots in commercials and advertisements on television. She was Dorothy Gale in a school production of the musical 'The the Wizard of OZ.' This was during the time she was in high school at the Shrine Catholic High School. She attended the Tisch School of the Arts and hoped to earn the Musical Theater diploma, but she left before earning her education to perform a leading role in the production 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. She had her first credit in the movie 'Pootie Tang. As with many other young artists she moved into Los Angeles and was successful in landing numerous TV shows.
