Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk - a talented actor who is also a director, writer and producer. Anna Silk's father was British and her mother was is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. She remembers watching her mother working in rehearsals for plays. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements in her youth. In November 1999, Anna relocated to Toronto to advance her acting career. She ended up making the move into Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. They got engaged in the year 2009. Anna has since converted to Judaism in the year before Seth Cooperman and Anna had been married in December 2010 in Fredericton. In April 2011 the couple renewed their wedding vows by having the traditional Jewish ceremony.
